Facilities for Pre-College Students

Nelson Fitness Center

The Nelson Fitness Center offers Pre-College Students a 10,000 square foot multi-purpose fitness loft with 85 exercise machines, 3 exercise studios (including a dedicated spinning room), general use locker rooms for Male and Females as well as a social space in the lobby that includes a cafe. The Nelson Fitness Center also offers personal training sessions at an additional fee.


 

Olney-Margolies Athletics Center (OMAC)

The Olney-Margolies Athletic Center (OMAC) is an 86,000 sq ft facility including an indoor track. For recreational use the OMAC offers Pre-College Students 8 Lane Sprint and 6 Lane Running Track, 3 Basketball Courts, 2 Volleyball Courts, 2 Badminton Courts, and Men's & Women's Locker Rooms & Showers.


 

Moran Coleman Aquatics Center

The Katherine Moran Aquatics Center features an Olympic size pool measuring 56 Meters in Length x 25 Yards in Width, and a depth of 7-9 ft. The pool is typically separated into three different "pools" with movable bulkheads. The "shallow" is most often used for Rec Swim, while the "Middle" & "Deep" pools are used for a combination of swim programs & Rec Swim. The Aquatics Center offers Pre-College students swim lessons, water basketball, lap lanes, an array of pool equipment such as fins, pool buoys, kick boards, and aqua joggers.

 



 

Indoor Tennis Courts

Brown's indoor tennis courts are located on the 4th floor of the Paul Bailey Pizzitola Memorial Sports Center. The four tennis courts are housed under a teflon-coated fiberglass roof.

 


 

Squash Courts

The third floor of the Pizzitola Sports Center houses the Kate Brodsky Memorial Squash Pavilion. The Pavilion houses five international glass back squash courts, bleacher seating for up to 200 spectators, and individual court scoreboards.
