To Purchase:
Brown Employees: Purchase online at bfit.brownrec.com. Please log into your Brown account using the "Brown Username" option with your Brown credentials. Select "Membership" for available options. If unable to access your Brown account, please reach out to the Office of Information and Technology.
RISD Employees & Students: Purchase online at bfit.brownrec.com. Please log into by clicking "Sign Up" and inputting your username and password into the available field. Select "Membership" for available options. If unable to access your account, please email recreation_membership@brown.edu for temporary credentials.
Brown Alumni & Family Members: Each individual alumni/family member will need to "sign-up" and create their own account online at bfit.brownrec.com. After creating their account, please have them email recreation_membership@brown.edu requesting the account be made into a Brown/RISD Family member account or Brown Alumni account. Family members also must include the name of the current Brown student, faculty, or staff member.
Valid ID information (Facility Access)
- All recreational members, must hold a valid ID.
- Brown students/faculty/staff use their Brown ID Card. To replace a Brown ID card, please contact the Brown Card Office.
- RISD students/faculty/staff use their RISD ID Card.
- Brown Recreation BFit ID Cards ($15): BFit ID cards are to be used by Brown/RISD Family members & Brown Alumni. Purchases and ID printing are done at the Nelson Fitness Center. Reprints are charged accordingly.

Membership Terms & Details
- Brown/RISD Family Members: Must be 17 years of age or older and related to a current Brown/RISD student, faculty or staff member.
- Brown Alumni: Graduates of Brown University
