Team Registration

Each team must register through IMLeagues. To be included on any intramural team, participants must be registered on this website. Please use your Brown Email Address when creating an account.

         IMLeagues Signup Instructions

Click on Brown University --> School Home. Scroll down and click on the desired League within the sport you wish to play in.

There are 2 ways to build your team: 
1. Captains can make teams and invite people to join (people invited must confirm) 
2. People can request to join an existing team (captain must confirm)

NOTE: Teams cannot be formed until the registration period begins. In the meantime please have all prospective teammates create accounts on the IMLeagues site.

Free Agent Registration

If you do not have a team, you may register to be a free agent. Captains have access to this list and are free to invite you to their team. You must accept their invitation to be included. You can also request to join a team, but the captain must confirm you before you are added.

To register:

  • Log-on to IMLeagues and register using your Brown/RISD e-mail address
  • Click on Brown University --> School Home
  • Scroll down and click on the desired League within the sport you wish to play in
  • There will be a button to "Join as a Free Agent"
  • Check off the Divisions you desire to be in (you can only be picked up in one division)
  • Your name and photo will automatically be listed on the free agent list
  • Include a description of what you're looking for in a team (e.g. grad student team, laid back, social outside of intramurals) and also your experience/skill level
  • You can also take the initiative and form your own team from the agent pool

Tournaments: Free Agents must be added by NOON ON THE BUSINESS DAY BEFORE the team's first scheduled game. 
Seasons: Teams can only add to their rosters during the regular season. To be eligible for the playoffs, a player must have played in one regular season contest.
