All Brown Collegiate Nationals Competitors have been working extremely hard to train for the tournament for the last two semesters. On top of their already rigorous taekwondo curriculum, ColNats competitors attend extra tournament-focused classes to hone their skills and to help them to achieve. Their hard work is reflected in their results, as they strive to perform at their best.

The Brown University team is coached by Master Sung Park '96. Most of the Brown participants started their Taekwondo careers as beginners with little or no prior experience; the strength of Brown Taekwondo's curriculum lies in its holistic approach to training that encourages athletes of all levels to compete. The competitors that contributed to the victory supported each other as a team and ensured excellent performance throughout the ranks.
